Historic Plaque Program
In 2008, the Terrace Park Historical Society initiated a program to recognize and honor the older houses in the Village. Houses that were built in or before 1920 were given the opportunity to purchase a plaque that could be mounted on their house. Residents with "Sears" and "Gunnison" homes were also given this opportunity regardless of the actual date built.
Most plaques list the original owner of the house and the date built. When the exact date is unknown, the date is given as "Circa" or "About". Four examples are shown below.
