| Enclosure of porch on the river side probably in the 1930's. 1977 - Harry Hake III remodeled all or parts of all 3 floors and enclosed the screened porch on the south side. 1979 - sun room or study addition on the south west corner and enclosure of porch on the west side (Hake). 1994 permit for Harry Hake to replace the existing flat roof and parapet with a new hipped roof. 2002 - permit for Charles Keffer to rework kitchen, upstairs bath and basement to meet today's needs (Keffer Construction, Mark McConnell, architect). 2008 - permit to Deborah Reis for complete demolition of summer cottage behind residence (Evans Landscape, contractor). | ||||

Planned as a summer home but decided to make it year around. Divided stair case is perhaps the most surprising feature -"leads to the balcony running around the spacious living room". We've been told the Scallans owned this property during WW I or perhaps they were renting it as a summer home at that time. |
