| Story 1: | Before the Cooks built their home here, there was an old barn. Information from Lenore McMullin of 607 Wooster Pike. |
| Story 2: | Matt Cook, Terrace Park police chief (street commissioner and maintenance supervisor of public property) since 1950, earlier with Indian Hill Rangers, grew up in Indian Hill. He was Virginia Iuen Cook's father. He retired December 31, 1969 and died in 1978. |
| The Cooks built 603 Wooster in 1924. They had two big maple trees and a mulberry out in front of the house. A crow became a big problem eating the berries and then sitting in bad spots. The Cooks one day caught the crow and took it on a long drive from which it did not return. Then they got rid of the mulberry. The two big maples were lost when 30 feet was taken from the front of their property in the widening of Wooster Pike. All the land was taken on their side of Wooster Pike for the widening.
