In 1995 the Terrace Park (Ohio) Woman's Club
began a program to record information about all the buildings
in Terrace Park, both past and present. This project quickly
grew as more and more information was gathered.
We became interested not only in the buildings
themselves but also in the people who lived in them.
Soon it was decided to put the information on a website
so it could be constantly updated and kept as current as
possible. This is
that website.
It contains the known information including
history, owner and resident names and biographies, building
photographs, an index of land deeds, census records, genealogy
information on selected families, anecdotes and in some cases
more. Sometimes
you will find related information using the button above or on
the left side.
If you know the street address, use the
street index above to locate the information. At some street
locations one building has been replaced by another. In that
case they have been labeled -1, -2, etc. If you don't know the
street address, use the search capabilities.
We welcome any information, corrections and feedback
you can provide. New information is added as it becomes
available and as time permits. |
